Meet Dr. Brent Rassi

What’s up everyone! My name is Dr. Brent and I am a Chiropractic Physician! I’m originally from Morton, IL (The pumpkin capital of the world), but lived in Iowa for 8 years. I attended St. Ambrose University and received my Bachelors of Exercise Science. At St. Ambrose I played one year of NAIA collegiate football. Then I went down the road to Palmer College of Chiropractic and received my Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. I’ve gained tons of experience working with some of the top doctors in the states of Illinois and Missouri and I’m ecstatic to help the central Illinois area!

My Journey to Chiropractic

During my time at St. Ambrose, I became very sick and was diagnosed with viral

meningitis. Believe me when I tell you…it was the WORST headache I have ever had in my life. By the way, if you ever hear that statement from anyone and they are being completely serious, get a medical professional to investigate further.

It progressed so badly that I was induced into a coma for 5 days at OSF Saint Francis. My recovery consisted of occupational therapy, physical therapy, neurology, chiropractic and nutrition. It took a full-team effort to get me back on my feet. I only had a 2% chance to make a full recovery, but I did, and I owe a majority of my recovery to chiropractic.

To be 100% honest with all of you, I don’t remember a solid month of my life. It is hard for me to look back and try to remember what that experience was like…not because it’s painful, but I physically and mentally cant. My brain was so swollen that those memories are gone. It has been a blessing in disguise going through something like that though. It has allowed me to be more empathetic with patients and understand the pain that they are in. I learned a ton from every single medical professional that helped me get back on my feet and I can’t thank them enough. The lord has kept me here, and I’m forever grateful, but my life purpose is to help people. I promise each and every one of you I am here to help!

Family Life

I met my wife Megan at St. Ambrose and married her during my time at Palmer in 2018. We enjoy going to concerts, being outside, and running. Megan has ran 5 half marathons, most of them in the hills of Dubuque, IA. I stick to 5k’s because I cannot keep up with my wife…but she pushes me to be a better person every day of my life!

Megan and I welcomed a little girl to this world in March of 2021. Her name is Blake Lee Rassi and she is a blessing from above! Blake has a furry older brother named Culver. He is the cutest dog. All of the Rassi’s believe that moving your body is the key to living a healthy life!
